GANGSTAPELLA : THA EPIC CAHTOON YO!

...with members of the o.g. cast and universe about and re-invented; all new original music and characters galore; and the brilliant, beautiful, and chocolate-lovin' Broadway starlet LAURA BELL BUNDY attached to star as L'IL BIT (and to produce!). The cahtoon will be given life by legend-in-the-making PIERO PILUSO!! Piero will also be a producer with Laura, Rus, and the gang at www.gangstapella.com.

Thanks to the gusto, encouragment, and pure adreanline of Laura Bell Bundy, and to her belief in Rus, Her Highness convinced Rus to go back to this originally shelved idea of his from 2004. This, of course, occurs right after Rus convinced Laura (while on the set of this summer's forthcomin comedy bonanza "Surf School") he HAD TO have her in Gangstapella, or he would beat her senseless.

And so, GPELLAs first female member, LIL BIT, was born, and the cahtoon went back to the front burner of Rus Gutin's gangsta-stove. Laura has not only signed on as a producer, but she has opened many doors for Rus out West, and has become a true friend in a place where such things are rare. This is all doubly cool because Rus has been a huge fan of Laura ever since he saw her as Amber in the o.g. cast of "Hairspray".

Rus, and the gang here at www.gangstapella.com, and the cast, and various producers, but mostly Rus, would like to take this opportunity to publicly thank Laura Bell Bundy for everything she has done for us so far. You gave us the push we needed to get back on track, and we won't soon forget it. We are lucky to have your crazy, chocolate grubbin' cracker Kentucky biatch ass on our team!! Thanks for believing in Rus and being all the gangsta cracka biatch you can be.


Once the stage was set to make a cahtoon, an animator of grand epic gangsta proportions would be needed to transfer our favorite chacters from mere white/asian humans to white/asian kung fu superstar superhero gangsta a cappella rappers.

And so, thanks to Rus's best buddy, filmaker and ingenious cinematographer, editor, etc. you name it, Clark Parkhurst, Rus and Laura Bell were able to get a sit down with one of the hottest and most sought after young talents in the cahtoon biz, PIERO PILUSO, who graduated form NY's SVA with Clark back in the day.

Piero has worked for more major-hit cartoons on the major cable networks than we can count on two gangsta hands!! (Even if they ain't holdin' forties!) The fact that he hasn't killed Rus yet, and gives us time is an unbelievable stroke of good luck and late hours for our main mother fucking cracka PIERO, and we could not mean that anymore seriously. The developmental sketches so far have blown people away, and PIERO's talents seem to have a "sky is the limit" set of skills that will ensure we create the single greatest adult cartoon franchise on the planet. Thank you from Rus and all of us Piero for bringing all of these ideas and real people to life you fucking jugg-er-not!!

Our very own Aussie brothers in arms, THE KIN, have been selected by XM RADIO to be the sole opening act for none other than New Jersey Hall Of Famers BON FUCKING JOVI !!!!!! this Wednesday, Dec. 7th at the Nassau Collesium for 30,000 screaming soccer moms, and assorrted Strong Island sluts and lunatics!!

Rus and LMNO from G-Pella go all the way back with these guys, and the rest of G-PELLA have all quickly become brethren and die hard fans of THE KIN and its clan. As a matter of fact THE KIN (then called The Harlequin) actually set up G-PELLA's first ever appearance in the universe for Rus back in 2003 at none other than ARLENE's GROCERY.

Rus has since been the crazed informal MC for THE KIN for several years now, and they have played for crowds of 800+ at The Knitting Factory, PIANO's, The Bowery Ballroom, Arlene's Grocery and more!! THE KIN even evetually headlined alongside Rus and tha Gangstas at G-PELLA's DVD launch party at NYC's famous THE CUTTING ROOM. Their fan base has been nothing short of muy supportive of all of our endeavors, as have the GPELLA posse returned the mother fucking favor gladly!!

Our congrats to the entire band for sticking it out and earning their place and time as future Aussie international rock royalty!!! THEY FUCKING BROKE THEIR ASS TO GET WHERE THEY BE AT MY CRACKAS!! Rus Gutin will be appearing as the Gay Costa Rican Surf Announcer in this summer's new comedy, "Surf School," by director Joel Silverman.

This is a huge opportunity for Rus, and could spell big returns for both our favorite Jew, and the Gangstapella soldiers who love him.

Starring famed comedian Harlan Williams, from such classics like "Half Baked", as Rip -- the washed up alcoholic former surf king turned mentor to the good guys. And believe it or not SISQO, of "Thong Song"-fame is even in on the mix. Now you know that shit is semi-gangsta!! Even Lee Norris from One-Tree Hill, and Rus's main man, Miko Hughes. The fucking kid from Pet Cemetary, now that shit's fucking muy muy gangsta, aye?

And in even bigger news gangstas, this movie, slated for release in Summer 06', is starring as the female lead, none other than our very own gangsta-empress, Laura Bell Bundy as Doris.

This is gonna be one hilarious fucking movie, and Rus has a real breakout role as the gay Costa Rican narrator of all the surf competition sequences in the third act of the flick.

Rus Gutin has also completed shooting his role in 2006's dramedy, "The Last Stand" written and directed by famous hip-hop radio demi god Russ Parr. In the movie he is listed as Cimic #2, but Rus was asked specifically to look like his ZEN MASTERBATOR self, and does so in the film. He appears in a key scene that comes back several times throughout the script.

The story centers around the peaks and valleys of the struggle for black comedians in LA. It deals with all of Rus's favorite subjects: stand-up comedy, funny shit, black people, suicide, violence, betrayal, drugs, and LA and the people in it sucking dick or demanding that you suck theirs. Rus loved working on the movie, had his first trailer, and was really excited to work with the infamous Russ Parr. More info will be available soon.

Rus has also been writing some sketches for none other than legendary Gangsta Sitcom star, game show host and singer, Alan Thicke (!!) on his new Clear Channel radio affiliates pilot, "Vegas Tonight".

Rus was so excited to meet and work with the dad of Mike Seaver and his friend Boner, he almost shit. A.T. was super accomodating to a no-one like Rus; Rus got the shot at the gig thanks again to the gangsta queen bee, Laura Bell Bundy. Thanks L'il Bit, you crazy biatch!! Rus looks forward to hopefully working with Alan again in the future.

Since then, Rus has been auditioning like crazy in L.A. and has finally been made eligible to join the Screen Actor's Guild in November.
